This is the second LazyTown DVD to be released on a region 2 format. This DVD features the episodes: 1. LAZYTOWNS SURPRISE SANTA. World's laziest villain Robbie Rotten tries to ruin Christmas Grinch style. 2. MISS ROBERTA. Robbie Rotten becomes that expert in good manners {or not!} 'Miss Roberta.' 3. SPORTS CANDY FESTIVAL. "What's big, orange and scares little children?" watch this fab episode and find out! 4. SPORTACUS WHO. Much to Robbie Rottens delight, Sportacus loses his memory. However, The tables turn on Robbie when he needs help getting down from a tree! 5. ROBBIES GREATEST MISSES. Dressed as a cow {yes I said a cow!} Robbie brings out his whole artillery - his pirate ship, his bulldozer, his candy shooter, THE LOT in an attempt to get Sportacus to leave town forever, will he succeed? The special features on this DVD consist of a sing-a-long feature to 5 LazyTown songs: 1. I love Christmas 2. Bing Bang {the Christmas version} 3. Good Stuff {harmonica's have never sounded so good!} 4. Have you ever 5. Master of disguise {the song words say many FRIENDLY faces, its actually many FUNNY faces.} If you're reading this review, then you'll know the sheer brilliance of LazyTown, with its BAFTA award winning combination of CGI, actors and puppets. If you don't, LazyTown is the brainchild of Magnus Scheving, the Icelandic athlete who also stars as Sportacus! LazyTown teaches kids to sing; dance and play, and makes exercising and healthy eating look very, very cool! If you haven't got this DVD, buy it! it can be watched all year round, not just at Christmas time. Utterly fabulous!
It's No Surprise This Is Excellent December 4, 2006 George Bruin (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Sportacus, Stephanie and the whole of Lazytown have done it again and produced a brilliant DVD that will keep kids happy for hours. Fans of Lazytown will know this wonderful show is loved by kids for it's fun, colour, laughter, games and energy-inducing desire to get up and exercise. There are five exciting, action-packed episodes that will give you over 2 hours of content. Although only one of the episodes is Christmas themed there is plenty to enjoy. The extras include a sing-a-long with 5 fantastic songs. A great DVD with fountains of fun for the festive season.
