NO ONE'S lazy in Lazytown! July 4, 2007 Purple Pug 888 (West Sussex, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the debut album from the geniuses at Lazytown studios. If you, or someone you know is a Lazytown fan, then I would suggest purchasing this album, because it contains 4 more songs than the U.S album ~ No one's lazy in Lazytown Galaxy Man on a mission Master of disguise. Also, if you are an avid Lazytown fan, you can also buy a Lazytown single and karaoke CD. This album is 34 minutes 18 seconds in length, and features 20 songs: 1. WELCOME TO LAZYTOWN ~ 49 seconds, first sung in the episode of the same name, and is one of the shows 2 theme tunes! 2. NO ONES LAZY IN LAZYTOWN ~ 1:46 seconds, first sung in SPORTAFAKE, season 1 {the shows now in its 2nd season.} 3. GALAXY ~ 1:48 seconds, first sung in ZIGGYS ALIEN, season 2. 4. GIZMO GUY ~ 1:23 seconds, first sung in REMOTE CONTROL, season 1. 5. LAZY SCOUTS ~ 1:07 seconds, first sung in LAZY SCOUTS, season 1. 6. STEP BY STEP ~ 1:40 seconds, first sung in HERO FOR A DAY, season 1. 7. HAVE YOU EVER ~ 1:32 seconds, first sung in WELCOME TO LAZYTOWN, season 1. 8. ALWAYS A WAY ~ 2:15 seconds, first sung in DEFEETED, season 1. 9. ENERGY ~ 1:18 seconds, first sung in SPORTS DAY, season 1. 10. SPOOKY SONG ~ 1:55 seconds, first sung in CRY DINOSAUR, season 1. 11. COOKING BY THE BOOK ~ 1:38 seconds, first sung in SWIPED SWEETS, season 1. 12. MAN ON A MISSION ~ 2:03 seconds, first sung in SECRET AGENT ZERO, season 1. 13. TEAMWORK ~ 2:08 seconds, first sung in MY TREE HOUSE, season 1. 14. MASTER OF DISGUISE ~ 1:57 seconds, first sung in ROBBIES GREATEST MISSES, season 1. 15. YOU ARE A PIRATE ~ 1:52 seconds, first sung in ROTTENBEARD, season 1. 16. GOOD STUFF ~ 1:32, first sung in DR ROTTENSTEIN, season 1. 17. PLAYTIME ~ 1:46 seconds, first sung in PLAY DAY, season 1. 18. WAKE UP ~ 1:38 seconds, first sung in SLEEPLESS IN LAZYTOWN, season 1. 19. 20 TIMES TIME ~ 2:04 seconds, first sung in HAPPY BRUSH DAY, season 1. 20. BING BANG ~ 1:55 seconds, first sung in WELCOME TO LAZYTOWN, and is the shows other theme tune! All Lazytown songs are dreampt up by Mani Svavarsson, and to date there are around 44 of them! The predominant voice on this album is Stephanie's {Julianna Rose Mauriello} who sings on 16 of the songs on this album. This album doesn't have any song words included, but does have a note of thanks printed behind the CD: Lazytown would like to thank all the children and families that "get up and go" with our music. Without them, Lazytown would be pretty...lazy. The track listing on the back of the CD case is white on a blue background, so is quite easy to read. With clever lyrics like - "cut it once and measure twice" and "what goes up must come down, but if you put a seed in the ground, what goes down comes up" this CD is fun AND educational! Long may Lazytown reign! Utterly fabulous!
should of stuck to the original February 11, 2007 J. Bentley (Cyprus) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
With three young children and avid fans of lazytown we were really looking forward to this CD, sadly this is not the case. For some strange reason the powers that be have decided to change the voices of trixie, ziggy, stingy and worst of all is pixel. The songs on the T.V show are perfect so why the powers that be decided to re-record and get rid of the original voices and replace with very poor electronic style is a mystery. It spoils the whole CD and apart from my 2yr old everyone critises it and feels disappointed. Brillant T.V show but why o why use [...]voices?

I beg to differ with the other review here, I was expecting a musical piece and this is just what was delivered. This soundtrack covering most of the popular tracks from the Lazytown series is an unadulterated journey through dance music with cutting edge production throughout. This is possibly one of the greatest albums of the year!
As Lazytown as it gets... September 14, 2006 The Contented Little Parent (Kent, England) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
If you're expecting this CD to be some sort of masterpiece of musical genius then you're going to be disappointed. If, however, you're expecting 20 very catchy, very fun and very upbeat songs then this is just for you. Put this on in the car and you'll all be singing along before long, our children are big fans of Lazytown and in that respect this CD doesn't disappoint - all the popular songs from the various episodes are here. The only negative comment I could make would be that it's not the longest CD in the world at a little over half an hour they could have fitted a bit more on. Overall a must for lovers of lazy town, it won't keep the children quiet in the car, but it will keep them happy !!
